Shhhhh. Be real quiet. Do you hear it? That low, rapid thump, thump, thump? Yep. That’s my heart beating, at a rapid pace. Because let’s face it. We’ve hit it. That after-Thanksgiving-before-Christmas HUSTLE! There are presents to be bought, gifts to wrap, cookies to bake, carols to sing, and parties to attend. There are decorations to be hung and garland to be strung. There are charities to help and meals to be served. There is taxi driving the children to choir and play practice. Not to mention shuttling them to their regularly schedule activities! And, with all that going on, I start stressing over finding time for my “normal” tasks like exercise and prayer. In fact, I may even put them aside, because let’s face it, I’m tired. I’m run down. My spirit is dampened, and my stress level is through the roof. Please tell me this sounds familiar, because I just can’t be all alone!
Now that I’ve succeeded in raising your heart rate too, I am here to let you know that you can take a deep breath and let Body & Soul Fitness lighten some of your load.
