What’s your favorite Body & Soul song?
You know how music gets “stuck” in our minds—we wake up in the middle of the night and there it is playing in our head; we hum it unintentionally while cooking dinner or driving carpools. Sometimes it’s a tune we’ve heard over the loudspeakers in the store or at a restaurant and we wish it would go away. Has that ever happened to you?
On the other hand, what about the great music that we exercise to in Body & Soul? That is the music we want to have filling our minds! Do you have a current favorite song? Maybe you leave class humming the tune? Do you look it up so you can add it to your online playlist or purchase it in your iTunes as soon as you get the latest list in the new devotional booklet? (which, by the way, is included below)
We love the music of Body & Soul—it is infused with the mind-transforming power of God.We are changed as we listen to it and allow it to renew our minds as it says in Romans 12:2, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
Check out this new song that we’ve just released—WaveWalker by Citizen Way—The message is focused on faith—being willing to ‘step out of the boat’ and walk on water, by faith, drawing closer and closer to the Lord just like the disciple Peter did. We hope it will inspire your faith, renew your mind and be your new favorite song!
