Heaven Is For Real

I'm looking forward to a new year! A new year causes me to think more deeply about the past year and more thoroughly about the new one. One goal I have for 2022 is to learn more about Heaven, the believer’s forever home. As a believer I believe that Heaven is for real, and the more I learn, the more I look forward to it! I never realized that believers are commanded in Colossians 3:1-2 to set our hearts and minds on the things above, where Christ is. It's not just a suggestion, but should be an active, diligent pursuit! This is an area I want to put more focus on this year

tempImagelM9bii One of my husband’s favorite authors is Randy Alcorn. Randy wrote a book entitled “Heaven”. My husband said it changed his life! And while my husband likes the big book, I’ve really enjoyed and been encouraged by Randy's small devotional called 50 Days of Heaven. This little devotional has helped me understand that right thinking about heaven can change my whole perspective on life! I love reading this book to my dad. He turns 95 years old January 10th! He loves hearing me read about Heaven and has even brought tears to his eyes.

Through reading about Heaven, I’ve learned not to place my hope in favorable life circumstances, but to
place my hope in Jesus Christ & His promises. CS Lewis said it this way, “In the truest sense, stop-ed-info.com have the best of both worlds. We have joy whenever this world reminds us of the next, and we take solace whenever it does not.” My pain and suffering may or may not be relieved in this life, but it certainly will be relieved in the life to come! This is Christ’s promise —no more pain or death; He will wipe away all our tears!! How great will that be!!!

Lee Ann Postma first attended a Body & Soul^® workout at CRU staff training in 1985 and knew right away that she would wanted to become an instructor as well! She has been teaching ever since, many times while pregnant, but always shortly afterwards, with the exception of a 10 year break after she had her 7th child and her husband was getting deployed several times.
