Emily BollingerEmily grew up and currently lives in Williamsburg, VA. She earned a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Virginia Tech and an MBA from William and Mary. She works for the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation as a manager in the IT department. Emily has been a Body & Soul® student since January 2017 and loves the physical challenge mixed with encouraging music and community. She has been blessed and honored to serve on the Body & Soul® Board of Directors since 2019. In her free time, she enjoys catching up with friends on a long walk, weekend family dinners, and watching football and basketball at home with her two kitties.

Secretary/Treasurer

Ruth AnnRuth Ann is Regional Director for the South Central region of the US and co-Program Director for our Gold program. She is approved to teach all six Body & Soul® programs and currently teaches Cardio/Strength, Gold, Dance Blast, and Power Strength/Flexibility Fusion at five Oklahoma church locations. Dr. Dreyer is retired from her position as Vice Chancellor for the Oklahoma Higher Education System. She has and continues to serve on several nonprofit boards and committees including the Board of Development for Oklahoma Christian University. Her home church is The Springs in Oklahoma City.

Exofficio, President

Amy StaffordAmy is the President of Body & Soul, teaches continuing education courses as the Director of Fitness Programs, and serves as the Power Strength Program Director and co-director of Cardio Strength. She is certified by the American Council on Exercise as a Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor, having worked in inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation clinics, private practice training studios, public gym facilities, and owner of a personal training LLC. She has taught Body & Soul classes since 2001, aligning perfectly her passion of combining faith and fitness to inspire others to wellness. Amy and her husband Steve live in Panama City Beach, Florida. Her life verse is Ephesians 3:20-21, "Now to him who I able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen."

Bea SprouseBea and her husband Mike live in Edmond, Oklahoma, and she is mother to two daughters and six grandchildren. Bea has been a lifelong learner and loves sharing what she learns with others. It led her to receive her bachelors, masters, and doctors degrees as well as certification through the Cooper Institute to teach group aerobics. She is a retired professor and Division Head from Oklahoma State University. She and her late husband, Ken, founded and directed Edmond Christian Academy and operated it for 30 years. She is also a pastor and Bible College teacher and missionary. Music, fitness, and wellness have been passions of hers all her life. Travel, running races and marathons, and bicycling have been favorites. She is just finishing her third book. Bea has spent nearly two decades with Body & Soul® and loves the worship and the work out. Her life verse is Matthew 6:33: Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all the things will be added to you.

Erin SeagearsErin was first introduced to Body & Soul® Fitness as a baby, when her mom started her 22 years of leading classes. Growing up with Body and Soul, Erin caught the mission and saw the impact of having faith and fitness meet. She is originally from northern Virginia, and completed both her bachelor's and law degree from the University of Virginia. Erin now lives in Baltimore, Maryland, and works at the Maryland Office of the Public Defender as a juvenile defense attorney - representing youth in delinquency cases and living out her calling to "Defend the weak and fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed." Psalm 82:3.

Donna BarberDonna is a 21-year veteran in the fields of fitness and strength & conditioning. Her journey began as an ACE-certified group fitness instructor with Body & Soul® Fitness. She is a certified division I strength and conditioning coach, and specializes in core training as it relates to the strength, performance, and injury prevention of athletes. Donna is also a comprehensively trained Pilates professional, certified TRX instructor, and a level 2 certified Barre instructor. She is the owner of dbFIT studio, offering private and small group Pilates sessions, personal training, HIIT, TRX, and mixed classes, as well as the creator of dbFIT LIVE, an online fitness and nutrition program that facilitates health, strength, and fat loss. Donna and her husband, Jeff, reside in Charleston, SC and have three grown children. Her life verse is 1 Corinthians 10:31, “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”

Cristy CaldwellCristy is an experienced business professional and international speaker/trainer specializing in systems, processes, and strategy. She has been with the same organization for 35 years. Cristy was first introduced to Body & Soul® 18 years ago through a family member and has been a big fan ever since. She and her husband, Will, have five adult children/spouses, along with seven grandkids, who are her greatest blessings and fill a lot of her time and travel. She has a heart to serve and is honored to be a part of an organization that shares the love of Jesus around the world through fitness.Cristy is an experienced business professional and international speaker/trainer specializing in systems, processes, and strategy. steve staffordSteve previously served on various interdenominational local not for profit boards for over a decade and one international advisory board for several years. He has held various volunteer leadership positions including the position of treasurer and chairman of a private Classical Christian school, as well as an Administrative Elder and Chairman of a local church’s Elder Council. He is married to Amy and they have one daughter, Jordan, who is married to Christian, and one grandson, Gideon. Steve and Amy are avid long-distance motorcyclists who have been known to ride to places like South Dakota, Arizona, and Texas from the US east coast. Professionally, Steve is a graduate of the Virginia Military Institute and is a Professional Engineer, a former business owner, formerly a licensed building contractor, and is currently employed by Bay County, Florida where he leads the Building Safety Division in the role of Building Official.

Jay HoldenJay was born to a military family in Southern California that migrated eastward. He grew up in Virginia Beach, where he met his wife Katrina of 30 years in high school. They moved to Williamsburg, Virginia in 1986. Jay studied Architecture in college but stayed true to his roots as a carpenter, which gave way to becoming a Class A General Contractor in 1997. Katrina and Jay have three grown children, and reside in Lanexa, Virginia where they enjoy homesteading, a slow pace of life, and family. Jay’s life verse is Ephesians 2:8-9, “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.”
