Chair

Ruth AnnRuth Ann is Regional Director for the South Central region of the US and co-Program Director for our Gold program. She is approved to teach all six Body & Soul® programs and currently teaches Cardio/Strength, Gold, Dance Blast, and Power Strength/Flexibility Fusion at five Oklahoma church locations. Dr. Dreyer is retired from her position as Vice Chancellor for the Oklahoma Higher Education System. She has and continues to serve on several nonprofit boards and committees including the Board of Development for Oklahoma Christian University. Her home church is The Springs in Oklahoma City.

Enid ButlerEnid caught the Body & Soul® vision through her close friend Body & Soul® president Amy Stafford, and is excited to be a part of moving the organization forward. Enid has a 20+ year background in business, particularly focused on strategic direction. She currently works as a Volunteer Coordinator for Sentara Hospice as well as adjunct instructor for VCU Department of Gerontology. In her spare time, she spends as much time as she can outdoors with her teenage daughter Lela and her cockapoo Buttercup (who is also the unofficial Body & Soul® mascot.)

Treasurer

Anita CAnita earned her bachelor’s degree in International Studies from Moody Bible Institute. She is married to Steve, who is the senior pastor of Community Church of Greenwood in Greenwood, Indiana. They have three teenagers, all born in Williamsburg, Virginia, which is where Anita was introduced to Body & Soul® as a student, then became an instructor. She knows how challenging, yet important, it is to take care of your body and your soul. She is everyone’s favorite accountability partner, she is pleasantly persistent, and is a gifted encourager. She is the owner of a small business that specializes in cleaning and organizing.

Exofficio, President

Amy StaffordAmy is the President of Body & Soul, teaches continuing education courses as the Director of Fitness Programs, and serves as the Power Strength Program Director and co-director of Cardio Strength. She is certified by the American Council on Exercise as a Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor, having worked in inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation clinics, private practice training studios, public gym facilities, and owner of a personal training LLC. She has taught Body & Soul classes since 2001, aligning perfectly her passion of combining faith and fitness to inspire others to wellness. Amy and her husband Steve live in Panama City Beach, Florida. Her life verse is Ephesians 3:20-21, "Now to him who I able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen."

Carolyn AndersonCarolyn’s heart has been with Body & Soul® for many years, with her first tenure on the Board in the 1980s. Carolyn is an attorney, most recently teaching international lawyers in the LL.M. program at Georgetown Law. Through the years she has been involved in leadership in education, in outreach through church and missions in Central America and China, and as an organizer for a community build in South Carolina. Carolyn and her husband Jack are blessed with three adult children, two daughters-in-law, a new grandbaby, and nine chickens. Aside from Body & Soul®, Carolyn loves hiking, kayaking and biking.

Founder, President Emeritus

Blocher JeannieJeannie and her husband Roy founded Body & Soul® in 1981. She is an author and speaker, who treasures first her role as wife, mother of three and grandmother of eight. She enjoys speaking on behalf of Body & Soul®, sharing the message of faith & fitness. She is a certified fitness professional and presenter for the American Council on Exercise and has spoken and led fitness workouts for the IDEA Health and Fitness Association, and at numerous women’s conferences around the U.S. and the world. She has been a guest of Focus on the Family, Janet Parshall’s America and numerous radio talk shows.

Emily BollingerEmily grew up and currently lives in Williamsburg, VA. She earned a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Virginia Tech and an MBA from William and Mary. She works for the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation as a software developer and a project manager. She has been a Body & Soul student since January 2017 and loves the physical challenge mixed with encouraging music and fellowship. Emily has three sweet furbabies and loves spending quality time with friends and family.

Nathan KeatingNate’s life mission is to help new vision come to life for the purpose of making Jesus known. With over 15 years of experience in both ministry and business, he continues to do exactly that. Nate is a personable, forward thinking, proven business executive and visionary experienced in taking companies from the formative stages to maturity by creating teams of world-class players, sound processes, stable business models, and innovative product offerings. He also has a huge heart for discipleship and raising up Jesus followers who are passionate about serving Him with their gifts. He has an amazing wife and two awesome sons who all strive to live simply, love deeply, and adventure always. They believe that life is meant to be cherished and lived to the fullest, no matter what the season or stage. You can catch Nate traveling and adventuring with his family whether at home in San Diego or abroad, leading worship at Horizon Church Church in Rancho Santa Fe, writing/producing music, or dreaming up what’s the next vision to bring to life.

steve staffordSteve has served for several years on various interdenominational local not for profit boards and one international advisory board. He has also held various leadership positions in his volunteer work including the position of treasurer and chairman of a private Classical Christian school, as well as an Administrative Elder and Chairman of a local church’s Elder Council, now in his sixth year. He is married to Amy, and they have one daughter, Jordan. Professionally, Steve is a registered Professional Engineer, employed by the College of William & Mary as the Senior Civil/Structural Review Engineer for the Code Review Team.

Brad WardBrad has extensive board leadership experience, having served on multiple non-profit and commercial boards over the past 15 years. He has also been an active volunteer in church and community activities. He has been married for 35 years to Mary and they have two children, one son-in-law, and one grandson. When together, the family enjoys spending time at their lake house, watching the Nats play, and open-water sailing. Brad is a graduate of the US Naval Academy and served as an officer in submarines. After the Navy, he entered the IT field and has held several leadership positions, including CEO of IES, Inc.
